Hack
X
Hack X is the DISTROS or simply OS which is designed by Shubham Verlekar based on
openSUSE an famous Linux Distro.Hack x prefers KDE for its default desktop environment
and it comes with advance features and customisation options. As from its name
hack x means more hacks and tweaks to open source Linux. Its controllers and
setup both are called as YaST (Yet
another Setup tool)
YaST is the most advance GUI control centre you can
get on Linux by any means. It is best then windows installer why? Because when
you install software’s like servers text and some other command-line programs it offers you GUI of these programs.
The detailed and advance features of its installer are
credited to YaST. In practise, YaST installer is the most important advance
installer for any os – nothing offers so much controls over the installation
procedure, with detailed help and description of everything you want to do
during installation – right from individual package selection, boot loader,
install locale and default run level setting to firewall configuration and
beyond. All of this certainly a pain for someone who has never tried Linux
before; but Hack x makes sure that if you do not understand all details it intimidate
you with, the GUI sequential install procedure wouldn’t harm your current
installation. Simply if you don’t understand it read help but of you don’t
understand it in any ways then do not touch it; that’s the mantra of opensuse.
Great thing of Hack X is its one click install
feature. It allows you to search for the required software on the opensuse
website and download a small file; it launches the installer and lets you to
install software on your system. And it allows you to subscribe without any
extra tools.
Our Hack X doesn’t include popular media codecs so you
have to install it manually but you can Download VLC media player instead off installing this codecs.
Users of openSUSE complain that the confusion between
YaST and KDE’s control center. The simple way is here is to not use the admin
parts of KDE’s control center and rather use YaST for those. We are based on
openSUSE which is the best performance OS. Unlike Ubuntu it doesn’t require
much extra space. So go for it down here we will put a table of Hack X’s
performance.
